El binomio integrado por Federico Villagra-Diego Curletto, con el Mitsubishi Evo IX del VRS Racing, ganó el Rally de Entre Ríos 2008 denominado “Caminos del Palacio”, septima fecha del Campeonato Nacional de Rally que culminó hoy en C. del Uruguay.
En el torneo entrerriano, Oscar Cutro ganó y se consagró Campeón 2008.
La prueba tuvo una definición espectacular con la remontada del “Coyote” quien había culminado septimo luego de la primera etapa disputada el sábado, tras perder casi 20 segundos en la primera parte de la misma.
Tras la etapa sabatina, Villagra destacó que “se tenía fe” para la jornada del domingo y vaya si cumplió el objetivo, ganando las cinco últimas Pruebas Especiales sobre las seis disputadas ayer donde Alejandro Cancio, segundo en la general, fue el ganador el primer tramo cronometrado, quedando a 8,3 segundos del ganador.
Con esta victoria, Villagra aumentó la diferencia en la punta del Campeonato respecto a su escolta Luciano Bernardi que arribó octavo.
Completó el podio Gabriel Pozzo, (Subaru) del equipo Barattero, a 10,1 segundos de Villagra luego de haber sido el líder en la General durante las tres primeras P.E., pero un inconveniente en el sistema eléctrico de su Subaru le impidió pelear hasta el final con Villagra, quedando relegado al tercer puesto.
Cuarto finalizó Nicolás Madero con el Mitsubishi del Tango Rally Team, en tanto Claudio Menzi –ganador de la primera etapa y compañero de equipo de Pozzo- perdió posiciones en el primer tramo luego de dos trompos pero luego se recuperó alcanzando el quinto puesto.
Detrás se ubicaron Nicolás Raies (Subaru), Alejandro Levy (Mitsubishi), Luciano Bernardi (Mitsubishi), Marcos Ligato (Mitsubishi) y Nicolás Carlomagno (Mitsubishi), este último ganando la Clase N4 Light.
Cabe destacar la labor del uruguayense Juan Colombo (Mitsubishi) quien ocupó el 14º lugar en la clasificación general navegado por su hijo, siendo la única tripulación entrerriana que participó en esta fecha del rally nacional.
En la Clase N3 se impuso Darío Hernández, en la N2 ganó Carlos Cataldo, ambos con Renault Cío, mientras que en la Súper R, la victoria fue para Roberto Castro.
Triunfo y Campeonato para Cutro
El concordiense Oscar Cutro, se consagró Campeón 2008 del Rally Entrerriano luego de ganar la septima fecha del Rally Entrerriano compartida con el Nacional en C. del Uruguay.
Cutro, quien así suma un nuevo campeonato en su dilatada carrera, se impuso con un tiempo de 1h44’20”8/10, aventajando por 26,7 segundos al paranaense Aldo Bastidas, ambos de la Clase A7, en tanto el tercer lugar de la General fue para Aníbal Bonnín ganando la Clase N3.
Una destacada labor cumplió el piloto de Urdinarrain, Martín Libralatto logrando el cuarto puesto en la General y segundo en la Clase N3, delante de Nadia y Florencia Cutro, las hijas del Campeón, quienes quedaron a sólo 2 puntos de lograr el título 2008.
La quinta posición en la General fue para Raúl Huck, ganando la Clase A6 y el sexto lugar fue para las hermanas Cutro, mientras Alberto Goñi se ubicó septimo y cuarto en la Clase N3.
En la octava posición, arribó Javier Huck -5º en la N3-, noveno Jorge Giebert, ganando la Clase N2 y décimo Lucio Coniberti, tercero en la A7.
